1. Who We Are
DsgnBoost ("we", "us", or "our") provides a daily design and creative-industry digest together with a curated directory of tools. This Privacy Policy explains how the DsgnBoost iOS app handles information about you. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at hi@dsgnboost.com.
2. Information We Process
Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple-provided account identifier and, only when Apple provides it, your name and email address.
Preferences. We store the Daily Updates topics you choose in your DsgnBoost profile. Your selected notification time is stored on your device.
Support communications. If you choose to email us, we receive the information you include in that message.
Service and security data. Our infrastructure providers may process limited technical logs needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use account information to authenticate you and maintain your account; topic preferences to remember your choices; your device-stored notification time to schedule a local reminder; and support communications to respond to you. We use limited service and security data to keep DsgnBoost reliable and secure.
4. Notifications
If you grant permission, DsgnBoost schedules one repeating local notification on your device to let you know that the daily digest is ready. We do not send remote push notifications or store a device push token. You can change the reminder time in Settings or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
5. Sharing and Third Parties
We use Supabase to provide authentication, database, storage, and related infrastructure services. We do not sell personal information, use advertising SDKs, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
When you open a news item or tool, the app may open the original publisher’s or provider’s website in an in-app browser. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies and practices.
6. Retention and Account Deletion
Published Daily Updates content is retained for seven calendar days and then deleted from our active systems. We keep account and profile information while your account is active. You can delete your account in Settings > Delete Account; this deletes your authentication account and associated profile from our active production systems.
We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or until encrypted backups and service-provider logs are routinely overwritten. Support emails may remain in our mail records for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and maintain business records.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can update your topic interests and notification time in Settings, turn off notifications in iOS Settings, and delete your account in the app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that is not available through the app, contact hi@dsgnboost.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use DsgnBoost only on devices and networks you trust.
9. Children
DsgnBoost is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact hi@dsgnboost.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as DsgnBoost changes. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
